Dear veterans and residents of besieged Leningrad who survived the blockade, we congratulate you on the Day of breaking the blockade ring!

79 years ago on this day - January 18, 1943, as a result of Operation Iskra, the troops of the Leningrad and Volkhov fronts broke through the encirclement and the besieged city of Leningrad, having received land communications, was saved from starvation and death.

We remember and honor the feat of the older generation, their contribution to the cause of the Great Victory and wish you good health, prosperity and long life, and all of us - happiness, success and faith in the bright future of our country!
