The Jagorb bridge in Cherepovets was tested for strength by trucks

The tests took place on the night of Saturday to Sunday. To do this, the traffic on the bridge was completely blocked and, starting at half past midnight, the traffic police inspectors sent vehicles to bypass.

At that time, specialists from the St. Petersburg company "Mostovoye Bureau" were on the bridge. They led 8 fully loaded KAMAZ trucks of 24 tons each. The trucks were lined up in a convoy and forced to drive across the bridge a couple of times, so they tested the bridge for dynamic loads. Then the cars were driven to the bridge and stopped in different places - they checked how the structure would behave under static loads.
